One of the objectives of KCA Gloucester is to advance the education and awareness of the public in the arts, culture, language and heritage of Kerala and Keralites. We’re overjoyed to announce the starting of Indian Classical dance training in association with Ms. Ashwathy Gopu. We aim to commence classes on Sat 30th September 2023.

Brief profile of Mrs. Ashwathy Gopu

Ashwathy is a trained professional dancer who started learning Indian classical dance from the age of 6. Bharathanatyam was studied under Thrissur Janardhanan master and Venkitesh Balaji master, Mohiniyattam was studied under Kalmandalam Leelama teacher and Kalamandalam Krishnapriya teacher. Kuchipudi under Thrissur Janardhanan Master.

📌Further Information  :

▪️Children from age 5 and above can attend the classes
▪️No upper age limit
▪️Fees : £25 per month (4 to 5 classes )
▪️Days: Weekdays – evening and Saturday 10am to 11am ( date and venue information will be shared later)
▪️Time : one hour to one and half depends on the number of students .
▪️Venue: Baptist church hall, Matson ( Changes if any will be updated)
